I apologize for being unavailable during this weeks class. Sarah is a little better, but I have never seen a horse take this long to recover from choke. Hopefully she will be back to normal soon.
My plan for you was to work on transitions. To an accomplished rider, transitions are like the sweep of a paintbrush to an artist, or the hitting of the perfect chord to a musician. Transitions are art, they can look and feel beautiful.

And your amazing video clip of the week is a favorite Musical Freestyle done by a Vermont rider at the Equine Affaire. She times her movements and transitions so well with the music, it will make you want to ride. We will be doing a Musical Dressage Show in April, and we aspire to have this kind of fun!
