Horse Amour Camps 2008

All camps are days only, 9-5 unless otherwise specified. This may be a partial list-- there may be day camps leading up to the weekends competition that are not listed here. Bring your lunch and dress for the weather!

Winter Camp

February winter break. Fun camp! Enjoy a morning lesson and afternoon practice ride. English & western, all levels. Quiz Bowl practices daily!

Spring Break Dressage Camp

April 16th- 20th, and April 28. An intense week of Dressage instruction, leading to our Annual Spring Dressage Show on April 29. Come for a week to improve your test scores, show prep your horse, join a Quadrille, put together a Musical Freestyle... the possibilities are endless! One of our most popular camps, sign up early. Your horse or ours.

Horse Trials/ Event Camp

June TBA An intense week of Combined Training Activities to prepare you and your horse for our Horse Trials on June 22 or July 6. Perfect your dressage test, sharpen your stadium ride and get out on the cross country course! Participate in course design. Let our farm boost your confidence while improving your competition skills. A popular camp for more experienced riders.

Horsepower Show Camp

July 28- August 2. Intense preparation for our in house 4-H Horse Show. Practice & prepare your horse to perfection! Equitation, fitting & show, trail obstacles, etc. Not a beginner camp, but for those ready to show.

Horsemanship Camp

Date TBA, July/August A week of fun in the sun to introduce basic equitation, horsemanship, and stable management skills. Half day camps, by the day or by the week. Meet new friends and ride with your old friends. Have a horse of your own to care for. All ages and abilities welcomed. Please email for reservations.

Holiday Camp

Thanksgiving Camp. Friday November 23.

X-Mas camp. December 26, 27 and 28 (2007) come try one the new gear you got for Christmas! A fun camp for lots of free time riding, Quiz Bowl and Hippology practice and fun with your horse crazy friends.
